The use of the highly toxic pesticide Paraquat will be completed eliminated by 2020. Other pesticides that fall under Class 1A or 1B of WHO listing are only used under strict and specific situations, and are not part of the estates’ routine use. They will be completely eliminated should suitable safer alternatives be found.

Safety Briefing for Pesticide Sprayers
All hazardous chemicals are kept in locked storage facilities in strict adherence to the ISPO P&C. We make special effort to ensure that women who are pregnant or nursing do not work in or near areas where pesticides are used or stored.
