At AEP, we believe that easy access to free and comprehensive health care for all workers are mandatory for all employees. As of 2018, we have a total of 23 estate clinics operated by qualified doctors, nurses and hospital assistants hired by the Group. Apart from servicing our employees, the clinics are also open to surrounding communities who in most cases lack any access to good healthcare. Health programmes such as fogging to check the spread of dengue is also regularly carried out.

Adequate and well-maintained sporting facilities are provided in all of our estates. These include football fields, volleyball and badminton courts, etc. Annual sports and family days are conducted in all estates to encourage sports development and a healthy lifestyle.
